Preparing for Construction to Begin
Structural Selections
Once you finalize your initial selections, we move swiftly to prepare the specific plans required to begin construction:

Blueprint Creation: Your structural option choices are sent to our architects to prepare detailed blueprints for your home.

Permit Submission: After the blueprints are completed, we submit them to the local building department to acquire the necessary building permit.

Permit Timeline: The time it takes to receive a permit varies greatly. Each municipality or city has its own timeline for fulfilling permit requests, which is a factor outside of our control.
Color Selections
Your design journey continues right after the initial permitting steps:

Design Appointment: Following the initial structural and permit selections, you will have your color selections appointment with a CC Homes design coordinator. This is when you will pick out the finishes within your home such as flooring, cabinets, fixtures etc.

Materials Processing: Once your final color and option choices are confirmed, the specifications for all materials, appliances, and finishes are immediately processed through our purchasing department.

Construction Progress and Milestones
Communication During Construction
We understand you will have questions as your new home takes shape. To ensure you receive accurate and timely answers, we use a streamlined communication process:

Your Primary Contact: Your new home sales consultant is your dedicated point of contact throughout the build.

They are happy to relay your questions directly to the construction superintendent on your behalf.

Construction Updates: Your consultant can also update you on the current stage of construction your home is in.

We kindly ask that you allow the team a couple of days to confirm the information and provide a response.

Safety and Construction Site Visits
Safety is our top priority. For the protection of all individuals, strict safety protocols must be followed on site:

Safety Guideline: Please refrain from entering the home while it is under construction. For safety reasons, you should never enter any construction site as part of an unscheduled visit.

Respecting the Team: We respect your interest in the home, but we ask that you refrain from interrupting or interfering with the construction team’s operations. Please direct all inquiries to your sales representative.
Your Scheduled Walkthroughs
You will have dedicated opportunities to visit your home during construction and before closing. We ask that you look out for our correspondence on this and respond promptly to confirm the appointments:

Framing Walkthrough: Around the time the partitions are installed, we will contact you to schedule this.

Pre-Closing Walkthrough: A comprehensive walkthrough is scheduled just before your closing date.

Post-Closing Walkthrough: As a CC Homes customer, you are also provided a follow-up Post-Closing Walkthrough after you move in.

Detailed Education: During your walkthroughs (Framing, Pre-Closing, Post-Closing), you will receive a detailed tour of your home and a significant amount of information, including essential tips on home maintenance.

We Encourage Engagement: We strongly encourage you to pay close attention to everything you see and hear during these meetings and ask the construction representative questions.

Finalizing Details: These meetings are specifically designed for us to address all your concerns and complete any necessary final touch-ups or corrections before closing.
Closing on Your Home
As the completion of your home approaches, you will be contacted by our closing department to set the date and time for your closing. The closing agent will be responsible for preparing and ordering all the documents.
It is critical that you plan for this financially and logistically so that you receive your home from us on schedule.
